About the Event
There are few, who would disagree that the maritime industry has to become increasingly more sustainable as soon as possible. It is easy to reach consensus on the benefits of sustainability, however, the more challenging questions are related to becoming a truly sustainable and efficient leader in shipping. There are a great number of areas in the maritime sector that need to be further developed and improved, to mention a few among many: reducing environmental shipping impact on oceans, ensuring that employees’ working conditions meet highest standards, guaranteeing transparency and others. The Global Sustainable Shipping Forum will tackle these and a great number of different pressing issues that all industry stakeholders have a need to exchange their views on.
