Nedstack powers bus-project in the Netherlands

Nedstack fuel cell technology B.V. (Nedstack) has equipped a 226kW/307hp hybrid electrical bus for use in the Netherlands with 8 of its XXL PEM fuel cell stacks. In total, these fuel cells deliver more than 60kW of electricity to the batteries. The bus is built by Solbus and operated by Syntus.

Nedstack cooperates in this project with HyMove, who delivered the range extender that uses the Nedstack fuel cells stacks. After extensive testing the bus is now ready for full operation in the province of Gelderland between Arnhem and Apeldoorn. The bus was recently used on tour in Germany and is being on show at the Hannover IAA this month.

20 % increased efficiency
Nedstack has been delivering fuel cells stacks to transport and material handling projects in Europe since 2007 and will introduce its highly reliable and long life time fuel cells stacks on short notice in other geographical areas in the world. The combined technology of Nedstack fuel cells and HyMove range extenders results in a more than 20% increased efficiency over current competition in the market.
